Oh that sounds really sweet. I bet you never made them wear Liberty Bell skirts though!!LOL

@ Beth~ I guess I did the same ,but with toys. Every Christmas I over do it with gifts for them because my family had a hard time when I was little.

@ Ginny~Thank You. I don't know what happened to the yellow dress exactly...most probably it was handed down to my cousin who was just a few years my junior. I'll ask her if she has a picture and maybe in the future I'll post it.Joannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01701170619308062747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8602739788203359839.post-6034378964208843362011-03-30T14:07:01.128-04:002011-03-30T14:07:01.128-04:00What a cute and funny story!!! So how many times did you have to wear the crocheted skirt to school and did you get made fun of? One time I got our grown son a tennis shirt to match his dads when they played tennis. He never wore it. When I asked him, he said it was geeky to dress like his dad, but not to tell him, he didn't want to hurt his feelings. But I think girls are just the opposite!Ginny Hartzlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09329131153403895625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8602739788203359839.post-43441218403021823042011-03-30T13:57:51.704-04:002011-03-30T13:57:51.704-04:00I never fixed mother daughte dresses for my daught...I never fixed mother daughte dresses for my daughter when she was growing up. My girls may have been too small to remember.
