Well hello there!
Sorry I have been M.I.A lately. It seems the flu bug has hit my darling daughter hard and then there's the itsy bitsy bit of snow we just had....
Oh I don't mean the few inches from the last post
NO
I mean the mamma jamma of all snow storms
Overnight we were blasted with nearly 30" of snow.
I knew it was bad when only after a few hours it looked like this

This is after round #1 of shoveling
A short time later Hubby and I went outside to tackle shoveling a second time

Notice the back of my car
The next day the snow was blocking our front door. But My husband took it in stride....
He put on a straw hat from a luau party we had a while ago and as he shoveled he had visions of warmer weather...
Our dog Max didn't have the same positive outlook

It has been a crazy four days. Schools have been cancelled, snow bogged streets and major highways have stranded motorists; mountains of ice have made driving treacherous to say the least.
Which brings me to something that has been on my mind
I am NOT a violent person
I tend to look for the good in everyone
In fact, I have turned the other cheek so many times I have gotten dizzy
so for me to write the following is a bit hard
Here goes.......
If I EVER bump into this chick
Mother Nature
I'm going to punch her in the nose!
