HI Everyone,
Where the heck have I been?
Well, I could say I was here
Having one of these
But NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
It's been a hectic few weeks.
My Father-in-law was hospitalized and was literally at deaths door when God smiled and answered "Trust me."
I feel it was a miracle.
After that scare I volunteered to work at the church helping with VBS ( Vacation Bible school ) and if you have ever done that you know .....it ain't no joke!!!!It takes forever to prepare, but when all is done ....totally worth it!
When that was over I settled down to write in my little Bloggy-poo...lo and behold The compose button would not work for me.
I could write Nothing
Nada
Zilch
Then today I went on again and still the compose button would not work until I played around with the alignment--don't ask me why but it at least allows me to write a bit. It is however still full of glitches. The words are jumpy and pictures keep disapearing.
But I will not let it get me down...
I have too much to be grate ful for.
So in honor of miracles and prayers answered...I wanted to give you all a
today.
Here is a very funny skit on hand-raising in church. The comedian's name
is Tim Hawkins and he is HILARIOUS. Enjoy
Ok, My favorite was The "washing the windows!!!!"
Have an Awesome day!!!!!
Prayers answered!!! What a blessing God has given.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a blessing to volunteer at VBS that is some serious work but I so agree it's so worth it! Keeps God with our kids during the summer when they have too much time on their hands.
Glad to see you and your compose but work-ish!
Miss ya!
I am so happy your prayers were answered.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a long time ago, but I remember working at Bible School. Lots of work but fun too.
Yes, it nearly did me in Beth!!! LOL!
DeleteIt is nice to see miraculous things work out....I don't know what happens to the computer sometimes
ReplyDeleteHi Kim! My computer never ever runs correctly. there is always some kind of glitch
DeleteLong, long time no see! And I WAS going to scold you, until I read this. You will have to give us the story of your father-in-law when the blog straightens up, I would love to hear it. Love the arm raising comedian, my fav is also the window washing! I hope you will be able to post more often, rats on blogger!
ReplyDeleteHi Ginny...isn't he just hilarious?! I love his humor!
DeleteSo glad to hear he's doing well.
ReplyDeleteNo hand raisers in this house but the comedian is hilarious.

I am glad also glad your father-in-law is feeling better. I was reminded today of my blessing when being told by my cardiologist that my heart loves my bovine valve. Then I received a call from my brother who has been close to death's door several times that his heart seems to be healing itself and even though his blood shows some cancer they can not see any. The won't say he is in remission but things are looking good right now. I am constantly reminded of the power of prayer and the grace of God. So, keep the faith.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blogs. The technique I used for painting the hair was using a brush with separated bristles. In this case I used three colors and intertwined the strokes to make the waves.
Hi Barb, wow your Brother is a walking miracle! God bless him! Thanks for letting me know about your technique...I will try it!
DeleteNice to see you blogging again. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe skit had me giggling all the way through.
Hope you sort out the problem with your compose window soon!
A big bright hello to you, too! I've dropped out from reading my favorite blogs lately. Ran across an old comment you made on one of mine, so I thought I'd stop in and see how you've been. Busy like me, I see! Have a great day
ReplyDeleteHi Rae, Thanks so much for dropping by!
DeleteYou've been busy. Welcome back.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sally, its nice to be back
