Snow and Ice

Hi everyone,....it has been a while.

I'm sorry about that. I feel so out of touch with everything here in bloggy world.

So lets see, where should I begin?

We've had  a lot of snow

            and ice

                       A whole lotta' ice.
The poor bush in front of my home

In fact the lake near us has not frozen over in years and years. This is the very first year that I have seen people ice skating on it.

I don't think I would be so brave as to venture out on the ice, but these people seemed confident. Right after I took these shots I got back in my car only to find that my car was stuck on the the icy parking spot. UGH!
Slide on the soap

My tire whirled and whirled until I was able to figure out a way out.

We are supposed to get more snow overnight.

But I won't let that get me down, I might just go ice skating
ice skating
no, that's not me

Stay warm everyone. I'm going to make sure I stop by your blogs today!

  1. Oh my goodness it has been so stinkin' cold here. It's supposed to get above freezing today and I'm super excited.

We didn't get all the ice you guys did, though.

  2. The ice is the troublesome part of it all...it can do so much damage. Never mind, it won't be long now before we start getting some thawing (I hope).
