   Short and sweet today.

And I can thank artist Laura Bell for that.

  4. Joanne, I'm an artist and I NEVER would have thought to use lint as a medium! haha Thank you so much for your sweet comment on my dad's ring. We certainly both have wonderful memories of our dads, don't we? I love your thoughts on both my mom's and dad's rings finally being back together again. Thank you... Donna

  6. Joanne,
This is simply amazing! When I was a young mother I use to save the lint from my dryer and use it to stuff animals and things that I would sew for my kids for Christmas. I really did it to save money, but I'm sure I thought I was being creative. lol! Who knew how much more you can do with lint.
    Hugs,
    Jann

  9. Just read your post called "Trusting God"...oh, if only you knew how similar our stories of coming to Christ are! I grew up a Catholic also. Did not like church. Had not gone in 7 years. Then this past March, Christ revealed himself to me, and my husband was very accepting of my desire to try this "fun" church I had heard of. Upon entering, the band was playing these great upbeat songs, the pastor, a young man, spoke of the word in a way that was interesting, as though he was telling us a story. We had planned our Baptism for this upcoming weekend but due to too many family commitments, we have rescheduled for next year...but now, after reading that you were baptised in February, I think I'm going to juggle my other obligations to the side, and make room for Christ! Thank you Joanne! Every time I see your name in my comments, I'm always left feeling like I somehow have this connection to you (even though I don't visit as often as I'd like)...maybe coming here today and reading your post "Trusting God" was the Holy Spirit guiding me. I feel absolutely elated right now.
