On Friday my children came to the conclusion that since it was 11/11/11, that 11:11am would somehow be a perfect time to make a wish and have it come true. Unfortunately, they forgot all about it and by the time they remembered it was mid afternoon.
until...they realized that they had one more shot at it 11:11 PM.
I let them stay up.
as it appeared on our TV screen thanks to Direct TV
They had a countdown and before we knew it it was time for wishing. They wouldn't tell me what they wished for because as you all know that means it would not come true.
But if a Great Dane, a monkey or Monster Truck suddenly appear at my front door I am totally blaming my son!

That is funny! How nice of you to let them stay up:)
ReplyDeleteis there any time limit on how long it takes for a wish to come true? I can just see him at 45 pulling in the drive in a monster truck. Look mom, my wish came true.
ReplyDeleteI love this post Jo. I think the kids had great fun making those wishes and I bet you would be surprised if you knew what they wished for.
