Wednesday's Fashion~~~Convertible Clothes

Hi ! come on in.

Let me start off this fashion post by writing that I love versatility . I love finding many uses for things. I guess that is why I love versatile clothes. A while ago I wrote a post about a young woman who wore a little black dress for a year. Everday she wore it differently and she raised a lot of money for a great cause. It was called the uniform project here is the post Fashion Wednesday~~~The Uniform Project

Which kind of brings me to today's Fashion......Convertible Clothes....I love them!

In these hard financial  times a dress that can be converted into many many dresses is such an awesome idea!

The first dress video is from company called Dessy and the dress goes for about $110. It says it is a Bridesmaid dress but I can see wearing it for any dressy occasion

This next video features a convertible top by Norma Kamali for Walmart that goes for about $20.

I just love them both. I really like the fact that you can make the dress top summery or get the coverage that you might need for a more modest look. I have to say that the dress is definitely my favorite.

  1. Well, first off, it really surprises me that Norma Kamali is designing for Wal-Mart!! I like her dress. But the one in the first video, it looks so hard and so confusing, I would for sure get all tangled up in it and need someone to come and extricate me!

  2. I'm afraid I'm not into fashion too too much...jeans and a tshirt, thats my style. If you can't wear jeans where you're going, I'm not going.

  3. I am for comfort and that is usually jeans. I do like nice tops though to go with them. ;-)

  5. Love it, I'm not sure if it is this designer but a lady who invited a dress like this won a show that gave her like a million dollars to launch. It was such a cool idea :)

  7. I think it would be neat if a bridal party all wore the dress in a different way.

  10. I like versatility. When I first went to business I only had two suits, a grey one and a dark blue one. First day I wore blue pants with grey jacket, the next day all blue, the next day grey pants blue jacket, the next all grey.
I probably wasn't fooling anybody but I felt ok with it.
