Hi everyone!!!!
On Fridays I get so excited and today is no exception. Last year I posted a post about fairy houses. I love them! So since we are in the middle of Spring; I wanted to post about a trend in gardening......
Fairy Gardens!!!!
Yes! and there are Garden Centers that have whole sections dedicated just for Fairy gardens. Why, you ask?

Well how else will you get one of these to come and take up residence in your backyard?
It's sort of like that Movie Field of Dreams
"If
you
buildit
they
will
come."
I have found three videos that will help you start your very own fairy sanctuary. This is a great activity to do with kids and perfect for apartment living. All you need is a sunny window and a small container and voila!
To me these are all like little pieces of art. They are beautifully whimsical and anyone can make one!

Fairies are the best tenants

And the more comfortable you make the garden....the more they will want to stay

...and who wouldn't want that?
I hope you enjoyed the videos. As soon as I post this I will be off to buy the materials needed for our very own fairy garden. Let's see...I'll need potting soil, stones, teeny tiny bench, tables....and fairy dust.
That last one might be hard to find.

Have an AWESOME Weekend!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteLove fairies, and for some unknown reason, they have been figuring heavily in my art lately. I might just have to think about setting up a spot in my garden too
ReplyDeleteoh how cute and i especially like the tinker bell on your post--the theme of my grand-daughter's gifts from me this second birthday!
ReplyDeleteIf I had a garden (and, well, a house), I'd want a fairy garden. They're so playful and magical.
ReplyDeleteBlessings for a wonderful Mother's Day weekend, a nap included.

I love the idea of a fairy garden! I've never heard of them, but now I'm going to keep my eyes out for some accessories!
ReplyDeleteThey had some awesome Fairy Gardens at Disney's Flower and Garden show. They were awesome. Thanks for the videos showing how to do the miniatures.
ReplyDeleteI plan to make a little fairy garden this summer. We already have the fairy entrance to our Catalpa tree; we made it earlier this spring.
