5..This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out! Try to do so without any coaching!
Answer: The letter "e", which is the most common letter in the English language, does not appear once in the long paragraph.

How did you do?

And now for Wednesday's Fashion...

Today's fashions come from an awesome place....fairy tales and fantasy movies!

This week I have been introduced to a new show on ABC called "Once Upon a Time". I love it! Fairy tale characters are cursed to live in real life...the catch? they don't know who they really are! I love the feel of the movie and so far I am loving the costumes.

I wish we could dress like this everyday! well, maybe not every day...once a week? I love fairytales and the fashion is such a great part of reading and watching them
I mean the effect wouldn't be the same if Cinderella ran away at the stroke of midnight wearing jeans and a sweatshirt right?

This is what we envision...a beautiful flowing dress that shimmers slightly in the moonlight.

Now would this scene still work if Sleeping Beauty wore a flannel nightgown? NOPE!

This is Snow White from the new Series "Once upon a Time" Her dress was a masterpiece made from white feathers.

Here is a costume from The Lord of the Rings" one of my favorite  movies. I swear I think I would wear this all day if it didn't mean that my sleeves would catch fire when I cooked or got sucked into the vacuum when tidying up.

Drew Barrymore from the Movie  "Ever After"
The beading from the neckline of this dress is simply gorgeous

I know I am missing so many...can you think of any? If you do I will try to find them and post them tomorrow.

In the mean time I think I shall retire to my chamber and await my true love's kiss....Oh shoot,  he's in there now snoring away. Poor Thing has been working hard clearing leaves and brush from the Castle grounds....Tomorrow The royal sanitation men will be picking up the garbage...so much for fairy tales.

  1. You're cracking me up again!!!!! Yes, I'm loving "Once Upon a Time"!!! This week it was even better than last! The evil witch is deliciously wicked!!! The show has beautiful effects, too!!! Whenever I would wear my embroidered droopy sleeved hippie caftan, I would set the sleeves on fire, it ended up with singe marks on it!
