The Case of the Missing Nano~~continued

And now for the continuation of  the Case of the Missing Nano.

When last we left our poor damsel in distress she had called in Sherlock Holmes to help her find her nano.

"Right, let me have it...you know exchanging my distinguished pipe to a bubble one does not help my image one bit." he grabs the bubble pipe and dips it in to the soapy solution.

"Now the only way to find this elusive nano is to look every where we can....are you ready?"


"Yes."


so we looked in my extremely well organized closet

"Hmmmm.... I'm detecting a pattern here. lets look somewhere where food is not involved. You are starting to drool. Why don't we check the dresser drawers? What the.........."

"PUT THAT BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  




I'm Tired Serl, why don't we stop for a bit and relax."


"Agreed my dear." he blows more bubbles

"How about a game of chess?" I suggest


"Everyone thinks I like that game...naw, not in the mood. Do you have candy land?or better yet Angry Birds?"

"NO! no electronics...it just makes me think of my missing nano. How 'bout we play this game...
                                    it really is challenging."


"No angry birds? he pouts.

"NO!"

"OK darn it all we'll play your boring game. Open it up."

"Now you're talkin' You are going to just love this ga......." I gasp as I gaze at a welcomed sight.


                                       


"MY NANO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  How the heck did I think to place it in there!"

"Elementary my Dear Joanne, You hid it in a place that even a harden criminal would not dare to look...in a boring board game!"

"Yada yada yada... do you wanna play or not?"

"Oh alright!  Sure beats having to look at your underwear again."

"Shut up Sherl!"

"OK I'll stop, hey you know what would make this day perfect?"

"I'm way ahead of ya....yodels coming up!"

  4. @ Jo-Anne- yes! I was so happy to finally find it. I looked everywhere!

    @ Ginny- yes it was! I don't even remember putting it there...weird huh? Ginny I tore up the whole house looking for that thing. Not knowing where it was was driving me crazy! And besides I needed to find it before Tuesday because then how would I be able to write the continuation of the Sherlock post! LOL!!! :0)

    Mind you, I keep putting down my iPad and then not being able to find it. (I have a suspiscion that the kids are messing with my head)

  14. I wasn't making the connection to your earlier post and all I could think of was NaNoWriMo. In just a few weeks there will be a lot of writers searching for their NaNo novels. Glad you found your nano and even better, glad you had Yodels to celebrate with.
