Today I want to bring you a bit of illusion. I love illusion art and Tromp l'oeil has been around forever. It is a style of painting that gives an illusion of photographic reality. The video that I found is of the works of Artist Eric Grohe. Sarah from (Sarahinwood.com) originally titled the video as belonging to Alan but his name in the video is Eric. He works on a gigantic scale and his art is amazing! See for yourself...

ReplyDeleteVery cool. I have seen at least one of those - the one in Bucyrus, Ohio, is about an hour from where I live, and I have seen those paintings. I'm also thinking I've seen the football one - if it is in Massillon, Ohio - about an hour from here, in the opposite direction!
