Again I apologize for the late post. The computer is in our office/guest room and there is where my mom is recuperating.
Today I want to write about.....the white shirt/blouse. There is just something about a crisp white top that can be so chic. Here are some of my favorites
1930's Finely Crocheted Off-White Blouse

1940's

I loved Lucy's wardrobe on her show. This is a beautiful high collared beaded blouse.

One of my all time favorite white blouses

This one almost reminds me of Gone With the Wind

Cool hippie style. Gotta love those sleeves

This one begs to be noticed

This one is my absolute favorite, crisp clean and very sophisticated. It looks great on all body types and ages too.

I had one just like the bottom one and unfortunately burned it with the iron. :O(
Which one do you like?
Can't say as I would go for any of them....that fluffy ruffly sheer one looks like something you might see on Lady Gaga.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is either the first one or the one Lucy is wearing. Boy, you have covered the gamut of white blouses! And I don't have a single one at the moment.
ReplyDeleteMay I ask a favor from all of you great writers. I am fairly new at blogging. My comment box looks sad, it is empty.
ReplyDeleteI will trade you comments...What do you say? I will comment on yours and you do the same for me.
Thanks
OHHH I love the white shirt, but I can never wear them I always get them crazy dirty.
ReplyDeleteI do love that last one, bummer on the burn :( see that would be something else I did.
I agree it reminds me also with the gone with the wind one. Love that movie and that one.
But Lucy Ball always had the best clothes even when they moved to the farm they had her so freaking stylish.
I like the last one. I had something similar to that in the 50s. It is amazing to me how the fashions keep getting recycled.
ReplyDeleteOkay, the best one is the one fron Rear Window with Grace Kelly. Next is the Gorgeous Rita Hayworth. Third is the first 1930's one. The rest are OK I guess.
