But there was something I discovered on vacation....
Something fun
Something exciting
Something guaranteed to make you feel young again.
Can you guess what it was?
Oooo la la ! But no that's not it
Yes you are right ...this would make me feel like a kid...and (unfortunately due to my sudden lactose intolerance) I would end up in a ball on the floor writhing in pain
It was...
I had never seen anything like it. It was a giant air pillow that kids bounced on and after watching the kids bounce and laugh with delight, I decided to take a turn
.
I climbed with a bit of trepidation...but then....
AND
and a little more
I jumped from one end to the other as my kids laughed and encouraged me to jump higher. My sister-in-law was also there joining in the fun and for a moment....just a moment...It felt like she and I were...
And that was a great feeling
I sounds like great fun to me.
ReplyDeleteI am lactose intolerant too. I keep Lactaid on hand but I stay away from dairy products as much as possible.
Wow! That does look like FUN! I would be scared to try...but glad I did! I'm thinking of going to a Zumba class tonight...wanna go with me? heehee! ♥
ReplyDeleteThis must have been so great!!! Feeling like a kid again...I just caught up on your post from yesterday. First, I would ask why they let people get on a horse like that for trail riding, someone less experienced than you could get badly hurt. They should not even keep that horse except as a personal pet. And you must be very good with a horse and very experienced to have handled all this so well!!! I would have gotten off right there and left the horse!
ReplyDeleteOh how fun. I like to jump on anything with a bounce too. I don't dare go out on the trampoline thought because I would probably kill myself just getting up on it. The last time I jumped on it was my 60th birthday. I need something a little closer to the ground.
ReplyDeleteSo fun....feeling like a kid!
ReplyDeletethey have one at the pumpkin patch we go to each year. The kids LOVE it. I must say I've never gotten on it. I'm afraid I may have bounced on my rear and right off in the dirt ... lol
ReplyDeleteWay to go my dear, be a kid all you can!!
It's like an outdoor jumpy house. I haven't seen one of those. What fun! Glad you encountered it.

Summer, chocolate, ice cream--can anything get better than that when it is hot? I will avoid the trampoline, however.
ReplyDeleteOh Joanne I LOVE THIS POST! My favourite of the day by far! An dnow, I might want to give a bouncy thing a try. I'm usually the boring, spoil all the fun one who says, "I'll just sit here and watch." You've given me new perspective.
ReplyDeleteWhat a joyful post, I enjoyed reading this.
