Pray

Of all the times in my life where I feel at peace and find strength is when I pray.  When I was sick a friend of mine who is really on the fence on what to believe asked what she could do for me. I asked her if she would pray for me.

"I doubt that'll do any good Joanne" she said
"But, don't you see He's been waiting for you to talk to Him, and this is the perfect reason to...don't ya think? If you pray I know he'll hear you." I answered

In that silence where all distractions melt away, I find peace in prayer....and our world needs alot of this.

  2. I can't access the video and I like Alison Krauss. But there is nothing more powerful than prayer. Next time, ask them to pray WITH you. If they say it won't do any good, you say hey it won't do any harm.

    Thanks, Joanne!

  4. I love this song. I heard it first on the movie, "O Brother! Where Art Thou?" which has the best music. Good message--prayer is the only way.

  6. Praying is where you can tell your "story" and there is no critic and always an open ear.

  13. We need more prayer time. There's nothing much better than a good heart to heart with the one who's responsible for us being here in the first place and the one who has invited us to share eternity with Him. No better time to get to know Him than now.
