Its fashion Wednesday and it seems the blog this week is keeping me in the theme of saving money. I found an awesome site and video. It's not exactly about saving money, but raising money. (although you can take this idea and save a whole lot of moola by being creative with one little black dress).... I love the story of an idea that enabled children to go to school!

"Uniform Project was born in May 2009, when one girl pledged to wear a Little Black Dress for 365 days as an exercise in sustainable fashion. Designed to also be a fundraiser for the education of underprivileged children in India, the project acquired millions of visitors worldwide and raised over $100k for the cause." quoted from the web site.
It all started with a little black dress and the Dream of a young woman to raise money...
She had her friend design the dress and make duplicates "so she wouldn't be smelly."
I think this is AMAZING!!!
I hope you enjoyed the video as much as I did! Blessings, Joanne
