This week I am dedicating my blog to MOMS!!!! yeah MOM!!!
We are new Moms and Moms with lots of experience.
We are over protective Moms and Moms who let children taste mud pies ( I don't recommend it)
We have read Green eggs and ham 1,287 times and will always smile while doing so.
We have changed diapers on a plane
We have changed diapers on a train
We have changed diapers in the dark
We have changed diapers in a park
We have changed them here and there
We have changed them everywhere
And when our kids are on the bus going to school for the first time we shed a few tears or in my case a bucketful.
So this Sunday ...
there might be a ruckus in that kitchen while a gourmet meal is being made
There will be toast
Eggs sunny side up
A perfect stack of fluffy pancakes

and practically no clean up at all

Tissue flower garden will be given with a gapped tooth smile
A macaroni necklace will be proudly worn
And the best gift of all will be shared
Hooray!!!! MOM!!!
Gosh, it's THIS Sunday? So it is!! I love your poem, it made me smile!!! And that tissue paper craft is not too shabby, I think I will make it with the girls to give to their moms. A hilarious post today!
ReplyDeleteLoved this post. Yes, I have changed a diaper just about everywhere. I cried when my daughter started kindergarten and I stood in her room and cried when left for university. Then I changed her room into my computer room. LOL
