When I first got married and came back from our Honey moon we stopped at the grocery store for food and general stuff because there was nothing at the apartment. I remember buy chicken, coffee, bread ,milk and sugar. I also bought a small pump bottle of dish washing liquid. It had yellow flowers on it and it was placed near the faucet.
Every time I ran out of dish liquid instead of replacing that small plastic bottle...I just refilled it. It's been 16 years and that darn plastic bottle has traveled with me to two apartments and finally to our home. The brand name has long since worn off but you can still make out the yellow flowers. I can't get rid of it. I have gone through three sets of dishes (we are the butter finger family) and countless bowls and appliances, but that cheap little plastic pump bottle is still going strong. In fact I bet If I bought one of those fancy shmancy dish washing liquid dispensers it wouldn't last the month.
My question to you is...Is there something that you hang onto that you just cant let go of? Is it so comfy cozy that the thought of giving it up makes you cringe? or does it works so well that you see no reason to rid yourself of it?
Is it a pair of comfy old slippers?
A raggedy dishtowel you've had forever?
A stuffed animal that's thread bare?
Or a hat too comfy to throw out
A figurine that seems a little out of place?
something from your college days?
Or baby days?
Or something from your favorite vacation?
or Not so favorite vacation?
So take a moment to look around and choose. Hope Your weekend is awesome! Blessings, Joanne
