Artsy Fartsy Friday~~~Dream Catchers and Feather Art

I love dream catchers. Have you ever made them? They are a Native American craft and they are the answer to avoid bad dreams. You see Good dreams are light and clear and know their way to the dreamer. Bad dreams are confused and they would not be able to find their way through the web of the dream catcher thereby getting stuck and eventually drying up by the rising sun. Here are a few That I found on the net and if you are interested I added a link that will show you  how to make them. This would be a great project with kids.

How to make a Dream catcher

The second piece of Art is something that I came across years ago when visiting a  friend. In her office in a frame was a single feather. On the feather was a beautiful painting. I was amazed at how delicate the artist's touch would have to be in order to paint on such a delicate "canvas".  Enjoy.

I hope you enjoyed this week's art. Don't forget to come back tomorrow for Saturday's Question. Have a great weekend! Blessings, Joanne

  1. Oh, so lovely! How in the world did that artist manage to paint on feathers, and do it so well?
I look forward to the Saturday question.

  2. I never knew the story of how the dream catcher is supposed to work, that is really interesting. But I would like to see some of YOUR dream catchers. Did you make them or buy them?
