To Walk or Not to Walk...That is The Question

I am all over the place it seems ...yesterday I am writing about politicians and today I want to write about how I am kind of stuck...

My Dog Max is looking at me and he is waiting...

The fact is that I want to take him out.

I love to take walks with him, but there is a...

It seems lately every time  I take him for a walk we encounter either stray dogs or dogs that manage to get out of their yards. Not so long ago a

  1. I need to check out her blog, I just got a squirrel proof feeder. Yes to the stray dogs. It makes me so mad. We have a leash law here, but you'd never know it! I am scared to death when I come upon a big dog who is loose! It made me quit walking a while back. Why don't you carry wasp spray, have you heard about it? Well, women are using it for self defense now. It works better than pepper spray or mace because it shoots from a huge distance! Now I'm not saying you should injure every dog around with this stuff, but if it looks like you are in danger, it is self defense! Your dog is beautiful and he has such soulful eyes!

  3. I don't like when I encounter intimidating dogs. I've seen people walking with big sticks that I used to think were walking sticks, but then I realized they were intimidating dog defense sticks. Yow!

  4. I miss having a dog to walk. I've never had to contend too much with intimidating dogs thank heavens. We've encountered a few though and it is a very scary thing. That is when you had a big stick to defend yourself, or maybe one of the protection suits you posted.

  5. Wonderful 'rebus' blog. I hope you brought your taser and a big baseball bat, and went on that walk with that beautiful dog.

  7. What an awful dilemma, when something that should be fun and enjoyable becomes anxiety provoking. I don't know the answer, but I love how you write your blog with the pictures. It's very clever and entertaining. I hope you figure something out, your dog looks like a sweetie.
